Emma Watson poses for Net-a-Porter’s The Edit . The 23 year old star poses in five gorgeous dresses made by Burberry Prorsum, Christopher Kane, Victoria Beckham, Erdem and Roland Mouret looking  absolutely amazing in these chic alternatives.

Since her visit to a factory in Bangladesh  she has been  questioning the current state of affairs: “I can’t wrap my head around why ethical clothing is a speciality and not a base standard. Why is it special to have something you know wasn’t made under terrible conditions by a 12-year-old girl for 20 pence an hour?”

I live in India , Bangladesh’s neighboring country where there are factories with similar working condition as in Bangladesh. Some indian retailer’s even export from bangladesh because of their high productivity.

Days Without Jeans ………. part 2

The LWD is in fashion and booties too …..

The simple black and white horizontal stripes look daring when paired with orange stockings . Stockings are great option if you don’t want to show too much skin .

The printed dress is truly great ….

Cover up with polka dot stockings for a retro vibe ..

This is easy to wear and super comfortable ……

The unique hemline does it all and don’t forget the bag .

Black stocking paired with this unique print dress is chic. The cut ans style of the dress is unique and interesting.

Go for a tie and dye dress and pair it with statement necklace to complete the look.Chunky bangles and bags to complement it if you will.

A simple dress like this has go it’s own charm. The color is unique and the style is unusual. Upper half is sweater and the lower part a full skirt with defined waist. A simple and comfortable look.

If you not comfortable with shorter hemline go a bit longer. This length is flattering on almost every one and provides enough coverage for cold weather. The dress is successfully paired with black long coat and ankle boots and a head piece.

Play with different types of hemline not only in length but also in form. The handkerchief hem is style.

The unique hemline and the red and black patches in the otherwise simple polka dot dress  is trendy . The red belts adds to its charm.

Simple tie and die dress looks great and comfortable for long summer days. Paired with gladiator sandals  and long neck lace.

If you are in love with sheer trend and not afraid to take risk this is the dress for you.

The charcoal gray tapered dress pants paired with classic white button down and black jacket is office appropriate and on trend.

The track pants inspired pants with side stripe gives a relaxed vibe.A simple black t shirt and a white belt make it a office worthy out-fit.

you can also go for printed pants  like the criss-cross pink and blue stripes on black background .Pair them with solid colored top or you can even play with prints.

I simple love this outfit the bold black and white vertical striped trouser and the mint green shrug paired with a simple black top look simple and fuss free.

The cut of the coat is cool and the layering does not look bulky at all. Layering is a art that girls in cold weather must graduate in.

Hats of to the one’s who can wear this pair of pant and be comfortable in it all day round . Personally I do not recommend sun extreme fashion that is uncomfortable. But this outfit is a hub of texture. Texture play a very important role in monochrome outfit.

Mustard yellow have been ruling the run for few seasons and the colour is sober and bold at the same time.Office appropriate and with a white top you can never go wrong.

The monochrome outfit is smart and not slouchy. The break in the colour comes where the belt and the funky shoes are added . The bold red lips add a touch of freshness.

Liquid leggings someone.. I love the way she has matched the bag and shoes while keeping rest of the outfit in neutral tone.

Another great example of layering without bulking up.

Double dose of leather is so cool and trendy way to stay warm. Leather is great alternative for jeans and gives edgy vibe as well

The dressy hot pant is not every ones cup of tea but the polka dot stockings and white button down make is work appropriate. This a great piece for your wardrobe as the shorts can double as evening wear when paired with dressy tops.

The office outfit is very simple but lovely. The moccasins and scarf are  good add on. The off white colour pant suit is simply chic.

The floral pant suit is comfortable options …..for a lazy day .We all go through a lazy day now and then so this it is good to have some ready made laid back outfit in the closet.

Days Without Jeans ………. part 1

I love denim and can’t think of going without them for even a week …  but these outfit are really inspiring me to take up the challenge of going 7 days without denim.

Leading the way is Alexa Chung with a floral printed skirt ….

Monochrome skirts are great options if you not sure about prints …… bold Chery red , neutral gray  , brown ……. and this reminds me of me school uniform …

You can even use belts to accentuate your waist ………….

Though the skirt is feminine the  bold chain accessories complement’s it the perfect way ……… I just love it ..

It’s definitely hard to carry of sequin during the day … but where there is a will there’s always a way …..it works great with understated or faded pieces.

The Classic white Shirt and a bold large print full skirt  …….

You can even opt for full skirt if you not comfortable with showing too much skin and don’t forget about the tights. Metallics works great with neutral and white T-shirt will never fail you.

How do I wear Floral Pants ?

Retro-inspired and vibrant tropical patterns make floral prints a quintessential summer item.Floral print shoes, shorts, tees and handbags can add a burst of playfulness to any summer outfit, but floral print trousers are the ultimate showstopper.

Floral pants are romantic and feminine and so many celebrities are rocking this summer item. You inspiration is right here.

  • The first thing to consider while buying a pair is your body type. If you’re petite you’ll want to go with a smaller pattern which will not over-whelm your smaller frame. If you’re tall you can get away with a bolder, large-scale design. And definitely  pick a color combo that can easily blend into your current wardrobe and you are comfortable with as these floral pants quite a statement maker.
  •  Pair floral print with a matching solid colour of the same tone as the floral pant. And black almost always works.
  • If you think it is going to be cool out prepare with a solid- coloured sweater or jacket.
  • Go easy on the accessories as you want the floral pants to occupy the center stage…  and make it look effortless.
  • Floral pants draws attention to your lower-half …. so stay away from them if your lower-half is not your best asset …
  • Wear heel to lengthen your leg as they are the center of attraction.

  • Different body-types has different style challenges including finding clothing items that fit both waits and hips and these floral pants are major challenge.
  • Among the four basic boys types (Athletic ,Curvy , Apple ,Pear ) .Girls with athletic bodies could pull this trend effortlessly while drawing attention to there toned legs and could use belts to emphasize small waste.
  • Girls with curvy body could use belt at the waist to show off their figure.

J.Crew ‘Hello, World!’ Campaign

Real people , real location hence real clothes …. no photoshoped models. It’s all about originality in the   J.Crew ‘Hello, World!’ Campaign. Clothes that can be worn by real people and are utilitarian. The photographers in their eight-city tour  managed to capture ten tastemakers across the globe including bloggers, fashion designers, magazine editors and boutique owners.

Elisabetta Venturelli, a fashion designer from Milan, Italy, says that when it comes to her style, “I love mixing different styles to create improbable yet sophisticated combinations.” Her idea of the perfect finishing touch? “Jewelry, glasses and a hat.”

The campaign also features Caroline Issa, who works at Tank magazine, in London. “I like clothes that make a statement, whether that’s in a color, a texture or a cut. I’m not afraid of putting prints or colors together that might not necessarily go together naturally,” Caroline says about her style. Her idea of the perfect finishing touch? “A red lip.”

Takahiro Kinoshita, Editor-in-Chief at Popeye magazine, Tokyo, reveals that, “I like traditional style that’s authentic.” His essential article of clothing? “An oxford shirt.”

Classical violinist Charlie Siem also stars in J.Crews ‘Hello, World! campaign. Speaking about how he became a violinist, Siem says that, “When I was 3, I heard the violin on the radio, Beethoven’s Violin Concerto — still my favorite piece — and I was enthralled. I’ve been lucky enough to share the stage with the Royal Philharmonic and Moscow Symphony orchestras and even The Who.” As on his style, Charlie admits that, “I gravitate toward unostentatious, smart clothes.”

“It’s not about having expensive clothes, being on trend or having a perfect body. People who inspire me are people who really make me feel like I know a little more about their personality — their strengths and their weaknesses — when I look at them. It’s what gives them charm,”

On styling her look, Garance explains that, “I always try to mix shiny clothes with rougher items. I don’t like to feel overdressed or too pretty-pretty, so I wanted to pair the skirt with something supercasual like a military jacket, a jean jacket or flats. Scott told me to keep the heels, so…”

Berta Bernad, a talented photographer and blogger from Madrid, Spain, says that her style “depends on the day and my mood. I might get up and want to dress up, or just grab the first thing in my closet that catches my eye.”
On her blog, “I studied journalism, so I love to observe everything! From the moment I wake up, all I can think about is my blog. It’s not only about fashion, it’s about art, friends and my lifestyle. I hope it helps others find their style.”
